Biography
Adolphus (Dolf) Brouwers (Utrecht, August 31, 1912 – The Hague, September 23, 1997) was a Dutch operetta singer (tenor) and comedian. He was discovered at the age of 59 by Wim T. Schippers and, as Sjef van Oekel, rose to become the lead actor in a VPRO television program by Schippers and in a series of comic strips drawn by Theo van den Boogaard.
